The Lawyers Weekly team has launched a new podcast, The Corporate Counsel Show, for its in-house market.

The Corporate Counsel Show will explore the challenges and opportunities for lawyers working in-house, from junior practitioners and company secretaries to legal departments and general counsel.

In September 2017, Lawyers Weekly unveiled its dedicated Corporate Counsel brand, covering the in-house legal market and its idiosyncratic needs. Now, the team has announced a new, first-of-its-kind podcast for that market.

Lawyers Weekly senior writer and podcast host Jerome Doraisamy said: “The Corporate Counsel Show will publish episodes fortnightly and will explore the myriad issues, challenges and opportunities present and on the horizon for lawyers working in-house, from junior practitioners and company secretaries through to heads of legal departments and general counsel.”

“Much like The Lawyers Weekly Show, this new in-house podcast will showcase the human element of life as a lawyer, offering conversational audio bites for your commute to and from work, or to unwind with across the course of your weekly schedule,” he continued.

The first episode features an interview with Dr Madeleine Hartley, the regulatory and corporate strategy adviser for WaterNSW. Dr Hartley was the winner of the Excellence Award at the 2019 Corporate Counsel Awards, hosted by Lawyers Weekly.
