Young lawyers striving for professional excellence within various practice areas have a chance to be recognised at the fourth annual Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 awards.
Submissions are now open for the event, which has 10 major categories that will identify 30 of the best young lawyers across Australia.
Lawyers under the age of 30 are encouraged put forward a submission, showcasing their work over the past 12 months that has led to successful outcomes for their clients, their firm or the wider community.
The categories this year are banking and finance, construction and real estate, corporate counsel, dispute resolution, government, insurance, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, pro bono and workplace health and safety.
Submissions close on 26 April, judging commences on 6 May and winners will be announced at a cocktail event at The Ivy Ballroom in Sydney on 24 June.
The evening will be hosted by comedian Tommy Little, who spent two years as one half of Nova 100’s breakfast team in Melbourne, and often moonlights on Network Ten’s The Project.
