The winners of the inaugural Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards have been announced.
Last night, more than 400 people gathered at the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney to celebrate the achievements of the 21 Partner of the Year Awards winners at a black-tie gala dinner.
Twenty-two high-profile judges took on the task of choosing the winners, while Major Lindsay & Africa, G2 Legal and Law in Order supported the awards.
Nine categories were taken out by global firm partners, nine by national firm partners, and three by boutique firm partners.
King & Wood Mallesons had two winners, as did Herbert Smith Freehills and Clayton Utz.
One global firm lawyer took out the top gong in two categories.
Dr Martyn Taylor of Norton Rose Fulbright was awarded the Commercial and the Technology, Media and Communications awards.
