The Adviser’s Better Business Summit 2016 has attracted record numbers this year, with almost 4,000 tickets sold already.
The state-based Better Business Summit is made up of two separate events: a one-day conference followed by an awards evening.
With just a month to go until the first chapter kicks off in Brisbane a real buzz is beginning to build. Throughout the industry, keen to make 2016 their best year yet, brokers from across Australia are signing up to attend their local conference.
Meanwhile, all of the awards events have drawn similar attention. In Sydney, tickets sold out well before the year-end break and in Perth additional tickets were released in early January to cater for the extraordinary demand in WA.
The Better Business Summit took out the Business Event of the Year category at the Publish Awards in both 2014 and 2015. Also in 2015, it was named an Event of the Year finalist in the highly respected Australian Magazine Awards.
Jim Hall, head of mortgage and real estate at Sterling Publishing, publisher of The Adviser, said he is delighted by the interest being generated.
“That the Sydney and Perth awards events have sold out so quickly reinforces the strength of the Better Business Summit brand in connecting with the mortgage industry and engaging, at a state level, with its target audience,” he said.
Mr Hall added that the benefits of being recognised as a finalist are immense.
“The key to successful broking is building up a local presence, and qualifying as a Better Business Awards finalist provides brokers with a unique opportunity to do just that,” he said.
At the Better Business Summit conference world-class speakers offer practical tips, strategies and tools on how to accelerate lead generation, attract more clients and increase referrals. Tickets are still available, but they are going fast and will sell out.
