The much in demand ESG Summit is back in February, this time in person and across two cities!
Our must-attend ESG Summit is returning in 2022, this time in person - landing in Sydney on Tuesday, 8 February, before venturing to Melbourne on Thursday, 17 February.
This year’s summit will deliver a full day of expert-led sessions, keynote addresses, panel discussions and networking opportunities, providing a truly unique look at the evolving ESG landscape, and the tools and tactics needed to engage socially aware and proactive clients as we experience the greatest wealth transfer in history.
Speakers so far announced include the Responsible Investment Association Australasia’s Simon O'Connor, who will delve into the ‘why’ behind ESG, looking into how environmental, social and governance factors will increasingly have an impact on institutional asset owners, investment portfolios and the third-party managers who serve them.
Additionally, Pivot Wealth’s founder Ben Nash and Fox & Hare’s Jessica Brady will join a panel dissecting the ‘S’ in ESG, with the aim to help practice leaders pave the way to a brighter future, attract new talent, and win tomorrow's business by advocating for a diverse, socially minded industry.
“On the back of the amazing reception our first ESG Summit garnered earlier this year, including a huge turnout, we’ve decided to return in 2022 with two in-person events tailored specifically to provide advisers with a truly unique and in-depth scope into ESG and client expectations,” said InvestorDaily editor, Maja Garaca Djurdjevic.
“Advisers are hungry for timely, educational and accurate information about the world of ESG investments. As such, we’ve worked hard to bring together the best possible line-up of experts that have the know-how to provide vital updates on compliance, ESG rules and questions pertaining to the great transfer of wealth and how advisers can best prepare.”
Event partner Fidelity International explained why it has chosen to join the ESG Summit for the second year running.
“Fidelity International is a proud partner at the upcoming InvestorDaily ESG Summit. We are committed to a net-zero future, and we’re taking action on behalf of our clients and society to contribute to a more sustainable future. We cannot do it alone, but with collaboration with others, we can make a real difference,” said Alva Devoy, managing director of Fidelity Australia.
The ESG Summit is also backed by Implemented Portfolios, North and Packhorse Pastoral Company Australia.
