Momentum Media has significantly increased the scope of its charity commitments to incorporate national and local level fundraising targets for 2017.
The company will host its annual Biggest Morning Tea to raise funds for Cancer Council NSW, and has recently donated the services of its talented graphic designers to produce the auction catalogue and marketing materials in support of the 2017 POSH Gala Ball.
“With so many Australians directly or indirectly affected by cancer each year, this cause is close to our hearts,” said Momentum Media director, Phillip Tarrant. “We’re incredibly proud to work with the Cancer Council team to produce the POSH catalogue and related marketing material in support of the organisation’s mission to generate substantial income to further its research.”
The POSH Gala Ball is one of the most highly-anticipated events in the Cancer Council’s calendar. It comprises a black tie evening featuring a silent auction – from once-in-a-lifetime experiences to highly sought-after items, enabling the Cancer Council to reach many high-end donors in order to secure future support for the organisation and its work.
In addition, Momentum Media will this year place an emphasis on supporting its local community by raising funds for North Sydney-based charity Taldumande Youth Services.
Through events such as the Momentum City 2 Surf charity team, a pop-up thrift shop, plant sales, charity auctions and more, the company aims to reach its target of $10,000 for the local charity.
Taldumande is a not-for-profit organisation that supports vulnerable children and young people aged 11-25 and their families. It operates the only 24/7 refuge for young people in Northern Sydney and offers supported crisis accommodation and community programs that provide a pathway from homelessness and family breakdown to independence and stability.
“With Taldumande based in our local area and with a focus on providing young people with life skills that prepare them for independent living and brighter futures, Taldumande’s values sits closely with our company culture of inspiring progress through innovative business projects. Throughout 2017 we intend to raise awareness and much-needed funds for the organisation,” said Mr Tarrant.
