Momentum Media is thrilled to unveil the 2022 Top 50 Agents state-based rankings, as well as the Top 100 Agents, and Top 50 Women rankings across its real estate publication.
The numbers have been crunched, and the top agents in Australia have been ranked!
Momentum Media’s real estate publication Real Estate Business (REB) has released its state-based and Australia-wide rankings, which aim to offer top-performing listed agents industry-wide recognition for their stellar results, hard work, and dedication during a tumultuous and challenging period.
Moreover, the rankings provide a framework for high-achievers to track their professional performance standards.
Since their inception, the rankings have provided insight into the trends, opportunities, and challenges in the real estate industry.
At a time when the strength of the Australian property market continues to grow, the rankings also aim to empower more agents to win more listings.
REB has used key metrics such as the number of properties sold, the total dollar volume of properties sold, and the average sale value across a 12-month period to develop a comparative score and determine the top-ranked agents across the states and Australia.
Each ranking was based on figures for the 2021 calendar year, and agents were asked to submit figures from their settled residential sales.
The REB Top 50 Agents are state-based rankings that were introduced by Momentum Media and REB in 2021 for real estate professionals working across NSW, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia, and South Australia.
Partnered by Realtair, the rankings recognise that real estate agents require a local tailored approach to their client services as no two markets can be identical. It acknowledges agents who have set a benchmark for residential real estate sales success while setting strong professional performance standards across the different states.
Realtair has also partnered with the REB 2022 Top 50 Women in Real Estate, which is now in its seventh year.
These rankings recognise the exceptional results and achievements of Australia’s top female real estate professionals working in residential real estate.
The REB Top 100 Agents rankings aim to celebrate the successes of agents across Australia who have also set the benchmark for excellence.
Now in its 11th year, the rankings – which is partnered by Propps – measure an agent’s performance across key metrics including sales, listings, and total dollar value of residential settlements.
REB editor Grace Ormsby said the rankings highlight the accomplishments of agents around Australia even as the property market fired on all cylinders.
“Our rankings reveals are always a massive highlight on the REB calendar, with this year's unveilings being no different,” Ms Ormsby said.
“2021's property market landscape offered up some stunning results for Australia's top-performing agents, and the rankings detail their drive, determination, and success.
“On behalf of everyone here at REB, I'd like to offer a huge congratulations to everyone who made the cut. You stand in extremely strong company.”
Momentum Intelligence senior research strategist Oliver Stofka stated that the rankings have demonstrated the incredible work that agents are doing year-on-year.
“Once again, we have seen a huge jump in the property market, with agents all around the country rising to the challenge,” Mr Stofka said.
“The 2021 property market was really something to behold and there have been some amazing performances from agents everywhere. All agents that featured in any of our rankings this year should be incredibly proud of their achievements. It has been one of the toughest and most competitive years on record.”
