The members of the inaugural Young Guns ranking have been revealed, with six entrants already million-dollar agents.
William Phillips from Sydney agency BresicWhitney topped the ranking, which identified Australia’s top agents under the age of 30.
He was followed in the ranking by two other Sydney agents – Adam Denina from Starr Partners Parramatta and Maclay Longhurst from BresicWhitney.
The Young Guns ranking was calculated on the number of sales, the volume of sales and the average sale price recorded during the 2014-15 financial year.
Mr Phillips posted volumes of $134.9 million, based on 122 sales at an average price of $1.1 million.
Mr Denina booked $81.6 million of business last financial year, selling 103 properties at an average of $792,000.
Mr Longhurst had volumes of $78.9 million, making 59 sales at an average of $1.3 million.
The boom states of NSW and Victoria dominated the ranking, with NSW providing 26 of the 50 members and Victoria another 13.
Queensland provided four agents, Western Australia three, South Australia two, and Tasmania and Northern Territory one each.
The Young Guns ranking had 35 franchise agents and 15 independents, while 44 were located in capital cities and six in regional markets.
Based on averages, the agents on the ranking were aged 27.2, made 50.7 sales, posted volumes of $36.5 million and charged a commission of 2.13 per cent.
