Momentum Media’s Property Investment Podcast Network has been downloaded 10 million times, double the number of downloads since November 2021.
The network, which consistently ranks in the top 25 business podcasts on Apple, features nearly 1,000 highly-engaging episodes on property investing, and is currently home to a range of shows, including:
The latest milestone of 10 million downloads illustrates the growing popularity of the brand’s fastest-growing content medium.
From humble beginnings in 2015, the podcast network grew rapidly, garnering over 64,000 downloads a month by 2018.
It has now burgeoned to over 200,000 monthly downloads across different streams and demographics, with listeners across every continent.
Steered by Phillip Tarrant, business podcaster and managing editor of financial services and real estate at Momentum Markets, the podcasts attract a wide range of listeners by covering diverse and timely issues impacting investors, including the property market, lender policies, government regulation, and the national economy.
They are designed both for first-time investors and large portfolio holders, and provide insights from economists, demographers, politicians, and property and real estate professionals. They also include case studies from mortgage brokers, and plenty of tips and tricks for investors to yield the best results from their property investments.
Mr Tarrant said that Momentum Markets is pleased with the growing reach of the Property Investment Podcast Network, and has cemented its position as the preeminent publisher of Australia’s top business podcasts.
He believes that it is testament to the fact that the podcasts have been fulfilling the purpose for which they were conceived: to create and deliver up-to-date content and insights that would guide a wide spectrum of property buyers, from the most experienced investor to the first-time buyer eager to enter the market.
“We launched the podcast in 2015 to deliver insights and knowledge to our audience and provide real-time updates as they happen,” Mr Tarrant said.
“We want to deliver content that is relevant to our listeners, including the latest property market trends and changes to government policies or lending standards, or examining how the economy and interest rate movements could impact the average property purchaser.”
As interest rates and the cost-of-living rise, the audience is seeking guidance from experts on how to navigate these rough waters, added Mr Tarrant.
“It has never been more important to educate our listeners on how the current economic environment could impact their loan repayments,” Mr Tarrant said.
“Our mission is to be the network of choice for property buyers by providing a platform for industry experts to share their knowledge and provide much-needed reassurance to property buyers,” he concluded.
