SMEs Australia-wide, and those who support them, will be coming together on Friday, 18 November to celebrate the achievements and innovation of the small business community.
Hosted by Australia’s longest-serving small business publication, My Business, the Optus My Business Awards is a prestigious program recognising the best businesses and individuals across the country.
Identifying and celebrating Australia’s most successful businesses across 24 categories – including industry-specific awards, as well as honours for leadership, innovation, customer experience and workplace culture – the evening is a who’s who of the small business community, where business owners, industry figures and corporate partners take the opportunity to come together and network.
Editor of My Business and director of Momentum Media, Phillip Tarrant, said the awards are a great opportunity for SME owners to be recognised and rewarded for their efforts, as well as to make meaningful connections to support their growth ambitions.
“My Business has a long tradition of supporting SMEs, and we are thrilled to support such an important part of the Australian economy,” he said.
“The Optus My Business Awards is a great opportunity to recognise excellence within the SME community and the determination of business owners and employees to deliver superior products, services and experiences for their customers.”
He added: “It is also a rare opportunity for business owners to come together and speak with suppliers, service providers, regulators and professional bodies. Building contacts has never been more important in business, and so we are pleased to be able to facilitate this.”
The glitzy black-tie ceremony will be held on Friday, 18 November 2016 at Sydney’s Four Points by Sheraton, and hosted by popular comedian Vince Sorrenti.
