The Partner of the Year Awards is an unparalleled program that sets the benchmark for excellence, pinpoints professional development and innovation, and showcases individuals who are going above and beyond for their clients and organisation.
There are 34 individual award categories on offer this year, including Banking and Finance Partner of the Year, Criminal Partner of the Year, Mergers and Acquisitions Partner of the Year, and Wills and Estates Partner of the Year.
The awards are also open to specialists in corporate and family law, pro bono, tax, migration, while new partners who have been in the position for three years or less are also encouraged to enter.
By winning an award or qualifying as a finalist, partners could set themselves apart, strengthen their position in the legal profession by elevating their personal brand, reaffirm their role within their law firm, and unlock new opportunities in their careers.
Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of highly-respected judges, who will recognise the partners’ capabilities, passion for providing valuable legal advice to clients, and propelling the legal profession to new heights.
Lawyers Weekly editor Jerome Doraisamy said that, in another year marked by significant change to the professional services marketplace, standing out as a partner or partner-equivalent is even more notable at this juncture.
“Partners and other leaders in law are under extraordinary pressure to adapt to an ever-changing landscape, ensure optimal service delivery and manage idiosyncratic staff needs. Those recognised at the annual Partner of the Year Awards can, and should, be appreciated for their exceptional work,” he opined.
“We look forward to celebrating with finalists, and eventual winners, on the night!”
