Momentum Media and real estate brand REB are urging the real estate industry to get involved and send in their submissions for the Top 100 Agents, the state-based Top 50 Agents, and the Top 50 Women in Real Estate 2023.
The rankings are an accolade of excellence and shine a light on the highest-performing real estate agents in the industry who go above and beyond for clients in their local area, while providing them with national recognition and opportunities for career progression.
They provide insight into the trends and opportunities in the real estate profession, as well as the property market, and are the highest benchmark for aspiring agents to aim for.
Agents are ranked comparatively across key metrics, including the number of properties sold, the total dollar volume of properties sold, and average sale price across a 12-month period.
Each agent is then assigned a combined comparative score, which is used to determine the top-ranked agents in the country.
The agents who are successful will be recognised for their outstanding achievements and contribution to the industry in the rankings.
The Top 100 Agents rankings – which is now in its 12th year – champions the top Australian residential agents who have achieved stellar numbers across the assessment period by using sales, listings, and volume.
Momentum Media and REB are also accepting submissions for the Top 50 Agents state-based rankings, which was introduced in 2021 for real estate professionals working across NSW, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia.
These rankings recognise that agents are required to adopt a local approach in their area as no two property markets are identical.
They acknowledge those agents who have established a strong presence in their area and set the benchmark for residential real estate excellence while setting strong professional performance standards for others to emulate across the different states.
Finally, the Top 50 Women in Real Estate ranking recognises and ranks the top female real estate professionals who have gone above and beyond for customers in the residential property space for the eighth consecutive year.
For the three ranking sets, agents will be asked to submit data from their settled residential sales for the 2022 calendar year, on which this ranking will be based.
Following this, agents will be ranked based on a range of criteria, including:
Momentum Media and REB will reveal the Top 100 Agents and the Top 50 Women in Real Estate rankings in May 2023, while the Top 50 Agents state-based rankings will be revealed from April to May 2023.
REB editor Grace Ormsby encouraged agents across the country to jump on board and submit for the rankings for an opportunity to be recognised for their hard work and success.
Commenting on the rankings, she said: “The rankings reveals are among the most highly anticipated events on the REB calendar. Every year, we are blown away by the calibre of work and volumes being achieved by agents across the breadth of the country.”
“The REB rankings are a wonderful way to objectively benchmark your own success against the broader industry. For those agents who make the lists, it also provides a tool for marketing, recruitment, and recognition.
“Remember - you’ve got to be in it to win it!”
Momentum Intelligence director Michael Johnson also weighed in, stating: “The REB rankings are a great opportunity to be recognised for the hard work agents put in every year. Momentum Intelligence is proud to support REB in producing these rankings again this year and discovering Australia’s top agents in 2023.”
