As part of its continued dedication to the profession, REB is launching the Top 50 Women in Real Estate 2016 – a new ranking celebrating the achievements of Australia’s leading female agents.
In its benchmark Top 100 Agents report, REB recognised the increasing number of women settling record numbers in all areas. This new ranking will celebrate these exceptional women for challenging and influencing real estate in Australia, across a range of categories.
The data is based on residential sales for the 2015 calendar year, to 31 December 2015.
Sterling Publishing’s managing editor of mortgages and real estate, James Mitchell, said the Top 50 Women in Real Estate will become another key benchmark in REB’s suite of reports and rankings.
“Our annual Top 100 Agents and Top 50 Sales Offices reports have become an important feature of this industry and we look to replicate that by recognising the leading women in real estate,” Mr Mitchell said.
“This year’s Top 100 Agents featured 10 women, including one in the top 10 agents in the country,” he said.
“However, there are so many great female agents out there that we wanted a new ranking to showcase their achievements and learn about the secrets to their success.
“By launching a Top 50 Women in Real Estate we will better reflect the diversity of this growing profession and profile more of the female agents who are driving this industry forward.”
In addition to the final ranking, REB will provide in-depth profiles, features and news coverage of these leading agents in a similar style to the Top 100.
If you are a female agent, this is your chance to be rewarded for the excellent contribution you make to this dynamic profession.
