For the eighth consecutive year, Momentum Media and REB are on the lookout for Australia’s top agents who consistently settle deals for the annual REB Dealmakers ranking 2024.
The REB Dealmakers ranking showcases agents thriving in their local areas by posting consistently high volumes, year-on-year growth, and constantly excelling in performance.
With submissions now open until 25 October 2024 COB, REB’s Dealmakers ranking will once again highlight the achievements of the top dealmakers in real estate across the country. Click here to submit an entry.
The real estate industry has encountered many challenges over the last few years with rising interest rates, lower stock, a tightening property market, and borrowers facing mortgage stress.
Since the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) began increasing interest rates over two years ago, there has been a rise in borrowers experiencing mortgage stress. There are currently 852,000 more mortgage holders at risk of mortgage stress, representing 29.5 per cent of mortgage holders in Australia, while over 18 per cent of mortgage holders are extremely at risk.
In light of these recent disruptions in the industry, the role of skilled agents is more than ever crucial. REB’s Dealmakers ranking provides an ideal opportunity to recognise top agents who have gone the extra mile for vendors and buyers.
One of the key aims of the REB Dealmakers ranking is to recognise the efforts of younger agents, regional agents, and those working outside of prestige metro suburbs.
These agents skilfully overcome hurdles to achieve individual successes over the financial year. The rankings offer aspirational targets for all real estate professionals by setting a benchmark for consistency that is visible across the industry.
The ranking will be evaluated based on residential sales for the 2023 financial year between 1 July 2022 and 30 June 2023 (FY23), and the 2024 financial year between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2024 (FY24) measured through several key metrics including the number, growth and consistency of deals.
The following must be supplied when submitting:
The agent will also need to supply a CRM verification document clearly outlining the following information:
a) Total number of settled sales for FY23.
b) Total number of settled sales for the FY24 broken down by month.
Submissions will not be accepted without this verification document.
REB editor Juliet Helmke encouraged agents from across the nation to get their submissions in, noting that the only sure way to miss out on being recognised is a failure to act.
“It’s so important to shine a light on the agents who are both consistent and achieving strong results within their local markets. We are consistently wowed by the submissions we receive from all across the nation. Make sure you’re considered for this impressive pack by getting your material in by the deadline," she said.
Submissions are open strictly until close of business on Friday, 25 October 2024.
