Momentum Media and REB are pleased to open nominations for the Top 100 Agents, the state-based Top 50 Agents, and Top 50 Women in Real Estate for 2022.
Since its inception, the rankings have provided insight into the trends, opportunities, and challenges present in the real estate profession as well as the property market and the broader population.
The rankings aim to offer listed agents industry-wide recognition as a top-performing agent as well as a framework for high-achievers to track their professional performance standards.
Each ranking will be based on figures for the 2021 calendar year, and agents will be asked to submit figures from their settled residential sales.
REB will use key metrics to generate the rankings, including the number of properties sold, the total dollar volume of properties sold, and average sale price across a 12-month period.
Each agent is ranked comparatively across these three metrics, with the combined comparative score used to determine the top-ranked agents in the country.
The agents who are successful will be recognised for their outstanding achievements and contribution to the industry in the rankings.
The REB Top 100 Agents ranking, which is partnered by Propps, is now in its 11th year and is the benchmark of success for Australian real estate professionals, and aims to highlight excellence across the board using sales, listings, and volume to rank the top agents in Australia.
The REB Top 50 Agents (partnered by Realtair) are state-based rankings that were introduced by Momentum Media and REB in 2021 for real estate professionals working across NSW, Qld, Vic, WA, and SA.
The rankings are an initiative that recognises that real estate requires a local approach as no two markets can be identical. It is an opportunity to acknowledge those agents who have established a benchmark for residential real estate sales success while setting strong professional performance standards across the different states.
Realtair is also partnering with the REB Top 50 Women in Real Estate 2022. Now in its seventh year, the ranking sets the benchmark for Australian female real estate professionals working in the residential property space.
REB deputy editor Grace Ormsby commented that the rankings are REB’s “most revered ranking scheme”, which shed light on the numbers being achieved by Australia’s top-performing real estate agents.
“On behalf of the entire team here at REB, I'd encourage anyone who has had a strong performance over 2021 to submit their figures and put themselves – or a high-performing colleague or friend – into the ring.”
Oliver Stofka, research strategist for Momentum Media’s research arm, Momentum Intelligence said: “The rankings celebrate the best agents across Australia and it is a chance for them to showcase their achievements and see where they place against the best agents across the country.
“It is the chance for agents to show that they are in the top echelon of the country's real estate market.”
Submissions for all three rankings close on Friday, 4 March COB.
