Momentum Media, Lawyers Weekly and principal partner LOD are pleased to present the fourth annual Corporate Counsel Summit, to be held on 5 May.
The Corporate Counsel Summit 2022 is returning as an in-person event this year, bringing professionals and the industry together at The Star in Sydney.
This year, the law event has been curated to equip all in-house professionals, from group counsels and chief legal officers to legal ops professionals, company secretaries and junior counsel with the vocational and practical skills and tools to navigate the ongoing changes in the marketplace.
This is essential for in-house counsel, thought leaders, career-focused lawyers, and forward planners across Australia in the current environment amid several environmental challenges and opportunities present in the law profession, even as the role of in-house legal professionals continues to grow in importance and scope.
Momentum Media and Lawyers Weekly will provide attendees the opportunity to acquire the latest insights and trends that are shaping the way of the future, helping you navigate this tumultuous environment of significant change.
The agenda is filled with renowned in-house professionals from blue-chip companies, expert-led sessions, keynote addresses, fireside chats, networking opportunities, and one-on-one conversations with product service providers. The event will set the benchmark for professional development to thrive in a post-pandemic environment.
Speaking ahead of the summit, Lawyers Weekly deputy editor Jerome Doraisamy said that the summit is a true highlight of the Momentum Media event calendar.
“The in-house community in Australia is rich not only with talent but also collegiality – this annual gathering always provides such a good opportunity for meaningful dialogue, knowledge-sharing and personal and professional development. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another outstanding event!
“As always, it means a lot to have LOD on board as principal partner for the event – and through to 2023. We’ve loved working with them in recent years, and cannot wait to continue our collaboration this year and next.”
LOD managing director Paul Cowling also commented on the company's involvement with the summit, stating: "Our ongoing partnership with Lawyers Weekly for the Corporate Counsel Summit means that we continue to deliver an exceptional event for the in-house community.
"LOD is passionate about supporting, delivering for, and innovating with our clients, so we are truly excited to once again provide a forum for debate and the sharing of ideas and experiences within the industry. The summit is a one of a kind event in terms of structure, approach and topics and 2022 promises to be the best yet."
