The numbers have been crunched – REB is pleased to reveal the Top 50 Women in Real Estate for 2021.
It’s the sixth year the annual REB Top 50 Women in Real Estate ranking has taken place, which aims to uncover what it takes to be among Australia’s most successful agents.
The ranking uses three major metrics to definitively rank participants using a comparative score: the number of properties sold, the total dollar volume of properties sold, and the average sale value across a 12-month period.
Since the ranking’s beginnings, the REB Top 50 Women in Real Estate has been able to provide valuable insight into the trends, opportunities and challenges that have faced not only the real estate profession, but the Australian property market more broadly.
REB news editor Grace Ormsby has expressed her admiration of everyone named in the 2021 ranking: “On behalf of both REB and Momentum Media, I would like to congratulate all of the women featured in this year’s top 50 agents – your hard work and dedication to the industry has not gone unnoticed.”
She acknowledged that the 2020 calendar year “came with a particularly difficult set of circumstances for the Australian real estate profession”.
“We are so excited to see that even despite the hardships of the past year, this ranking shows how much grit, determination and sales acumen exists within the profession,” she added.
Not only does the ranking set the benchmark for sales success, it offers listed agents “industry-wide recognition as a top-performing agent and offers an avenue through which such success can be celebrated”, Ms Ormsby continued.
