Lawyers Weekly and principal partner Taylor Root are pleased to unveil the 30 winners of this year’s 30 Under 30 Awards.
The 30 Under 30 Awards black-tie gala ceremony was held on Thursday (7 March) at The Star in Sydney, where the young guns of the legal profession received nationwide recognition for their achievements and dedication to propelling the industry forward.
A total of 30 individual winners walked away with trophies at the 12th annual awards, who were selected out of over 280 finalists.

Winners included lawyers in banking and finance, financial services, insurance, migration, planning and environment, sports and entertainment, and wills and estates (and many others), as well as barristers, corporate counsels, and those in legal operations.
Over 850 members of the legal profession attended the 30 Under 30 Awards ceremony this year to celebrate the successes of the best and brightest young legal professionals who have achieved professional competency, laid a strong foundation for a prosperous career, and consistently demonstrated a passion for the law and dedication to personal growth.
Australian comedian Lizzy Hoo assumed emcee duties at the awards ceremony and delivered entertainment and laughter throughout the evening.
Speaking after the event, Lawyers Weekly editor Jerome Doraisamy said: “It is always such a thrill for us to recognise and fete the next generation of leaders in Australia’s legal profession.”
“With award winners and finalists like the ones seen tonight coming through the ranks, we can all have faith that the profession is in safe hands, in what promises to be a fascinating and challenging 5-10 year period,” he mused.

The 30 Under 30 Awards program showcases the depth of talent and outstanding successes of Australia’s young lawyers.
The 2024 program was open to all legal professionals aged 30 and under, with the assessment period spanning over the 2023 calendar year ending 31 December 2023.
The awards ceremony presented attendees the opportunity to network with industry leaders, colleagues, peers, as well as the rising stars of the legal profession.
