The leading women of Australia’s real estate industry were recognised for their achievements in a glittering ceremony.
Women in Real Estate Awards provides a platform for industry professionals to showcase their talents, recognising the industry’s high-performing female agents, property managers, BDMs and businesses.
Run in partnership with principal partner ListReady, Momentum Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards 2021 returned as an in-person event at The Star in Sydney on Friday, 10 December after being broadcast via livestream in 2020.
Now in its third year, the awards program provides a platform for industry professionals to showcase their talent and recognise high-performing female agents, property managers, BDMs, and businesses, while celebrating female leaders, role models, and future champions of the industry, as we aim for a more gender-balanced sector.
Over 300 people gathered to support their peers and reward the outstanding women influencing the real estate industry for their hard work, innovation, determination, and dedication, during what has been another challenging year.
A total of 23 individual and group winners across 22 categories (in addition to the prestigious Excellence Award) were chosen from a pool of 175 finalists.
The Excellence Award recipient was selected from the highest-scoring winner from the individual award categories.
This year, the Excellence Award was conferred to Belle Property Central Coast principal Cathy Baker, who also won the Sales Agent of the Year – Regional award.
“One of the highlights on our calendar, the Women in Real Estate Awards aims to celebrate the women who are doing incredible things for the real estate sector. Once again, this awards program has blown us away with the depth of talent and dedication on show,” REB deputy editor Grace Ormsby said.
“It's been a very uncertain lead up to these awards, so to see so many people from the industry all together celebrating in one room has been quite overwhelming – in the best way possible.
