Momentum Media has today announced a strategic partnership with leading audio-visual experience company Austage Events.
Momentum Media delivers business intelligence and content via digital, broadcast, events, social and print platforms, reaching a collective audience of over a million Australians every month.
Established in 1994, Austage Events is a full-service audio-visual company that creates world-class event experiences for the corporate, fashion, entertainment, education and not-for-profit sectors.
According to Alex Whitlock, director of Momentum Media, the partnership will deliver a huge advantage to Momentum Media and its clients in achieving deeper engagement with new and existing audiences.
“We communicate with all of our communities via multiple channels on a daily basis. With a partner of Austage Events’ calibre working seamlessly from within our office, and also externally in venues across the nation, our capabilities and potential to scale our broadcast offering has dramatically increased overnight,” he said.
Whitlock said the timing for this could not be better as the world responds to the ever-changing conditions needed to combat COVID-19.
“We have an immediate solution to ensure that we connect in new and more effective ways with all of our audiences.”
“This is an extension to our existing podcast, video and live web streaming proposition. We now have the capabilities to deliver seamless virtual events and awards to our communities at a time that they are feeling most isolated.
“I’m very excited about what this represents to the more than ten thousand delegates and attendees we welcome to our events every year as well as our sponsors and commercial partners,” he said.
Speaking on the technical audio-visual capabilities now added to Momentum Media’s offering via Austage Events, Whitlock said it was the culmination of nearly a decade working together across over 100 events.
“Austage was the staging and audio-visual partner for our inaugural Australian Broking Awards in 2012. They share the same passion for event delivery as we do, helping us to produce memorable experiences for guests and value for sponsors,” Whitlock said.
“The company has been a major technical partner for us across many of our awards and conference programs, including the multi-award-winning Better Business Summit, which has been named Event of the Year by a range of awards programs.”
“This is a relationship that is tried and tested; our cultures align and through the addition of their technical audio-visual services to the wider Momentum Media proposition, we can deliver to clients right across the nation.”
Austage Events has locations across Australia, with equipment that can be deployed immediately to service the needs of clients or utilised in custom studios, including at Momentum Media HQ in Sydney.
The business also has an advanced live stream, telecast and live broadcast capabilities, which Momentum Media will draw on in the production and delivery of its own awards programs, as well as make available to its clients.
Austage Events has been at the forefront of innovation in audio-visual delivery, with technical directors regarded as the best in their field.
According to Aaron Dart, general manager NSW, Austage Events, the strategic relationship supports the business’ strategy to partner with innovative and complementing organisations that can draw on its technical capabilities to deliver a better client and guest outcomes.
Austage Events and Momentum Media have built and enjoyed a strong professional relationship over many years, and delivered countless successful bespoke live experiences,” Dart said.
“Whether conferencing or awards shows, Momentum Media has always been a solid performer. We are thrilled to be part of this strategic alliance and excited about the possibilities this partnership can bring.”
“We’ll be offering technical audio-visual support to Momentum and its clients across live and virtual product launches, awards nights, corporate conferences, seminars, and other business events.
“I’m confident that working in lockstep, our respective organisations will affirm our reputations for excellence, professionalism and innovation.”
